The University of Wyoming offers both general scholarships (those awarded at the time of admission to UW) and competitive scholarships (those for which students will be evaluated and chosen on a competitive basis). Below are those general scholarships offered to prospective new students applying to enroll at UW in Spring or Fall 2012. These scholarships are awarded based on their academic achievements at the time of admission to UW.

Sheridan College ..... Location Sheridan and Gillette, Wyoming ... Type Public
Sheridan College has 129 athletes as reported in a 2010 survey by the Office of Postsecondary Education. The college gave out an annual amount of $582059 in athletic scholarships to its student athletes last year. Of the 17 coaches that run the sports programs at Sheridan College, 5 of the head coaches are male and 6 are female.
